Stainless Steel Screws

Stainless Steel Screws in Toronto & the GTA

316, 18-8 and 410 stainless self-drilling, self-tapping, deck, wood, machine and structural screws for GTA contractors, fabricators and manufacturers.

Stainless Screws

The Right Screw For The Substrate.

Screws fail when the grade, point or thread is wrong for the material. A 410 self-drilling screw punches through steel framing that would stop an 18-8 screw cold — but 18-8 or 316 will outlast it outdoors.

We supply stainless screws for steel, aluminum, wood, composite and concrete, in imperial and metric, and help you match the grade to the job before it ships.

Which Grade For Your Screw?

GradeCorrosion ResistanceBest For
18-8 / 304GoodGeneral exterior work, cladding, trim, standard decking
316Excellent — chloride resistantLakefront, pools, road-salt exposure, pressure-treated lumber, curtain wall
410Moderate — hardenedSelf-drilling into steel framing and structural steel

Where It Gets Used

  • Steel stud and light-gauge framing
  • Curtain wall, glazing and window/door assembly
  • Metal roofing and cladding
  • Decks, fences and railings
  • Fabrication and equipment assembly

Spec It Right

  • Use 410 when the screw must drill steel; use 18-8 or 316 when corrosion matters more than drilling
  • Choose 316 near Lake Ontario, pools or anywhere road salt reaches
  • Stainless threads can gall — drive at lower speed and avoid over-torquing
  • Isolate stainless from aluminum in wet locations to prevent galvanic corrosion
